Mondays 2.15-4.45pm or 6.30-9pm and Fridays 9.30am-12pm £165 for 10 weeks
Watercolours (beginners & intermediate)
Tuesdays 9.45am-12.15pm, with a break for a drink and chat £119 for 10 weeks
I am a professional tutor with extensive experience in secondary and further education and a practising artist and sculptor (1st class BA hons).
I guide the complete beginner through a variety of basic techniques whilst more experienced artists are supported in the development of their own projects. I encourage you to develop your own style and interests. We work from a variety of subjects including still life, figure, portrait, animals and landscape. I regularly teach new techniques and introduce you to the work of different artists and potters. It’s a great way for you to learn new skills and make new friends in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Class numbers are kept low to maintain a high standard of tuition.
The course runs over three terms 10 week terms a year. Dates for 2019 – 20:
Autumn term is Monday 16 September – Friday 18 October, with a three-week break and continues from Monday 11 November – Friday 13 December.
Spring term is Monday 13 January – Friday 14 February, with a two-week break and then continues Monday 2 March – Friday 3 April.
Summer term is Monday 20 April – Friday 22 May, with a two-week break and then continues from Monday 8 June – Monday 13 July (extra Monday due to Bank holiday on 4 May).
You can join a class at any point in the year; if you are unable to come to a session you are welcome to swap sessions that week or come along to two sessions on another week to catch up.
